What we have here is a very special Tissot from what we consider to be their golden decade, the 1950s. The classic retro scriptwriting is used to this day in their heritage models like the Visodate. What makes this Tissot even more special is the oversized 36.5mm steel case that was considered to be jumbo for the time, the clean dial and large smooth bezel make this wear larger on the wrist. The condition of this watch is nothing short of remarkable and with the clean look due to the pristine condition matching our Beads of Rice bracelet was an absolute must.
This watch is in overall excellent original condition. The dial is clean with no blemishes or defects of any kind. Superficial scratches can be seen throughout. The steel case shows no signs of polishing and doesn’t show any large dents or scratches. The movement was recently serviced and runs smoothly keeping accurate time.
